Internships
My internship experience has allowed me to combine web design, branding, and digital strategy to build websites that are both visually engaging and functional for real clients.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County Internship
Web Design Lead (Intern – non-profit work) @ Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County
[January 2026- current]
As the sole Web Design Intern for Big Brothers Big Sisters, I led the end-to-end redesign of their regional website. My focus was on balancing the need for a modern, engaging interface with the practicality of a platform that the staff could easily manage day-to-day. By prioritizing a sustainable design system over unnecessary complexity, I delivered a high-impact digital presence that empowers the team to maintain their content without technical friction.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County was looking for a new, fresher, more modern look. They wanted to organize and simplify the navigation and content, include more images with a bigger impact, and have a smaller footer. They also wanted the “Donate” button to be more prominent.
The site is currently housed at Squarespace.

Farmer Dan
Web Design Lead (Intern – paid work) @ Farmer Dan
[February 2026- current]
Building the brand and website for Farmer Dan LLC from the ground up, creating a modern online presence and product line focused on sustainability, responsible land management, and community values. The project combines branding, web design, and user experience strategy to help establish a strong digital foundation for the business.
Farmer Dan LLC was looking to establish a strong brand identity and create a professional online presence from the ground up. The website was designed with scalability in mind to support future business growth and potential e-commerce expansion. Throughout the project, I developed the website layout and overall structure, helped establish the visual brand identity, and created responsive page designs for both desktop and mobile users. I also organized the site navigation and user flow to improve usability, assisted with content planning and messaging, researched SEO best practices to help increase visibility, and collaborated directly with the client to align the design and functionality with their goals and vision.
The site is currently housed at Wix.

Class Projects
CSS Technologies – Showcase Website Project
These websites were created to showcase the skills learned in class. These skills included selective styling, controlling font properties, controlling text properties, manipulating color and background properties, and working with list and table properties. The course also covers CSS box properties, style sheets, responsive design, mobile web app styling, page layout, and CSS transformation.
Drupal – Discover How Drupal Can Transform Your Web Presence
These websites are an example of my work in WordPress and Drupal. These were created as a part of my Content Management Systems class.
These sites were done during my first semester and are examples of what I was able to do early on. The work was done with a team (content); however, the coding was done by me alone. They have NOT been updated as my knowledge has grown, except for the SHOP on the Dairy site. That section was added as part of my e-Commerce: Design and Marketing Websites class.
